Recently we have started a new pure STR bow character , but we have a little trouble planning out when exactly we want to 9 gap with him. What we know is that we want to do it at the earliest level, it possible lower then 30 preferably since we enjoy a lot grinding around Donwhang and buying low level SoX equipment will be much more easier for us.
We have thought about starting as early as after getting our 2 Arrow Combo, but then we thought that having an AoE attack to pull monsters could greatly speed up the process. We have also thought about going all the way to level 31 to get our Strong Bow. Someone could offer some advice to us as to when we should start 9 gapping.
Also, when we do start to 9 gap, should we wear the general Garment armor, or go more towards armor that will protect you better against the monster types that we are currently fighting. For example in the Huygno Ghost/Chakji/Earth Ghost zone wear Armour and then move to Garment for Devil Bugs/Earth Taoists.
